The Early Music Group " Contredanse " was created from the teachers
of music. The ensemble helped to organize religious services of
NewApostolic city community. A set of recorders (the firm Moeck)
was brought and presented to the musicians for that purpose from
Germany.
At the time the members of the ensemble were not permanent, mainly,
the teachers of music played in it. Gradually the repertoire and
the instruments were enlarging and the ensemble became an independent
collective. They took part in a great number of perfomances in towns
and cities.
By that time it consisted of four recorders, guitar and percussion
in some works cembalo, mandoline, cornomuse and vocal were used.
At that time till 2002 played in group : Alexander Bondar, aranger,
recorder alto, cornomuse, mandoline Andrew Konstantinov, the leader
of the group, recorder sopran Natalia Bobkova, recorder basso Valeria
Nesmashnaya, recorder tenor Ludmila Vvedenskaya, guitsr Tatiana
Barbarich,percussion
Since 1995 the musicians have been performing in different concerts
trough the country, took part in several festivals. Many times they
played aboard - Austria, Poland, France, Romania, etc. They performed
in concerts on the radio and TV.
In 2002 some changes took place in the ensemble. Some musicians
- Bobkova,Nesmashnaya, Vvedenskaya, Barbarich, left the group. They
created their own group " LITUUS" and they are a succes now.
The group " CONTREDANSE " was joined by the new members - V.Kerbul,
E.Julan, A.Dunchik.
On the 25 - th of July in 2003 our leader, friend, musician Alexander
Bondar was died.
At presrnt the group consist of the followning musicians : Andrew
Konstantinov, the leader, recorders sopran, tenor Viktor Kerbul,
recorders Eugeni Julan, guitar Andrew Dunchik, percussion
The repertoire of the ensemble include works of unknown composers
of the 14 - 16 centuries, dances 16 - 18 centuries.
The musicians pay special attention to the pieces of music of unknown
belorussian composers of the 16 th centure which came to us as "Polotsk
Sheet", Voitsekh Dlugoraj works, Matsej Radzivil, Mikalaj of Krakow,
Yan of Lublin and many others who lived and worked on the territory
of the Great Duchy of Lithuania.
The aim of the group is to get acquainted the audience with beautiful
music of the Medieval and Rennaiccanse, with unknown works of the
Belorussian composers of the 16 - 17 th centuries.
They try to toch and move the hearts of every persons, aware the
love to beauty.
